Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center
The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center recently opened after completing an extensive expansion, uniting the existing historic building with new, modern galleries. Nearly every part of the FAC’s original building has been renovated,
expanding from 88,388 to 136,786 gross square
feet; a total expansion of 48,398 gross square feet. including:- Traveling Exhibition Gallery
- Permanent Collections Gallery
- Tactile Gallery
- Expanded Education and Interactive Space
- Additional storage to accommodate the large collections of ethnographic and fine art.
- Expanded public areas for educational programs and community events.
RBSCo worked with the Colorado Fine Arts Center from 2004-07 to reach their $43.4 million combined fundraising goal. This unprecedented campaign raised $28.4 million to renovate and expand the Center's school, theatre and museum. In addition, the campaign added $10 million in works of art the Center's permanent collection and $5 million to the endowment. We were inspired and privileged to work with a team of the City's most dedicated and generous philanthropic leaders.
