Memorial Health System and Foundation
Since its founding in 1904, Memorial has grown from a small community hospital to a world-class health system. Today's Memorial is a level II trauma center with three hospitals - Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North and Memorial Hospital for Children in partnership with The Children's Hospital Denver - as well as outlying clinical facilities throughout southern Colorado.The Memorial Health System Foundation was created in 2001 to meet the ever-increasing demands for community-based health care. While Memorial Health System is owned by the City of Colorado Springs, it receives no taxpayer support. In addition, Memorial Health System treats everyone, regardless of ability to pay. One hundred percent of the revenue generated by Memorial Health System is reinvested in health care services for the community.
Our firm's work with the Memorial Health System, an organization at the heart of the community, has been focused on governance and non-profit best practices. Our work with Memorial's Foundation has centered around counsel, fundraising planning, communications and leadership development.
